Our Polycarb Shakers are now BPA Free! But what does that mean?

Bisphenol A (BPA) is a controversial chemical that can be found in polycarbonate plastics. Since BPA is an endocrine disrupter and may cause developmental or behavioral effects, many researchers have expressed concern over current human exposure to BPA. TableCraft knows how important safety is to the restaurant industry and has developed BPA free products in response to the recent studies.

Check out this informational article from Scientific American for more insight on BPA- http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=plastic-not-fantastic-with-bisphenol-a

TableCraft Sponsored Chef's Success!

Check out Chef Eric LeVine, one of Tablecraft's sponsored chefs, on Food Network's 'Chopped' this season AND at this year's Catersource show! Honored by the James Beard Foundation in 2009, Chef Eric has been recognized for his artistry with food, including the International Catering Association’s Chef of the Year Award in 2008. 2010 Favorites! Part II

(From L to R- AS46/AS57/AS811 Menu Holders, 353DP Beverage Dispenser, PC2N Dome Display Tray)

AS46/AS57/AS811

These acrylic menu holders were one of our favorite new items introduced in 2010. With their simple design, these holders blend in anywhere from country club brunch to hot wing stations at the bar. Their versatility in use (they can stand upright or be placed horizontal) is just as impressive as their versatility in style, and that, combined with their easiness to use, is why these menu holders top our list.

2010 Favorites! Part I

From TableCraft classics to innovative new pieces, here are some of our 2010 favorites to ring in the new year!

(From L to R- 71 beverage dispenser, FN1611 Blackwell Collection™ rack and bowl, 6618 Authentic Collection™ shakers)

71

Seen at classy brunches around the world, this beverage dispenser will always be a favorite way to dispense juices, but that's not why it's a TableCraft favorite this year. The 71 makes our list because in 2010 we've been seeing it used more and more in spas and resorts to dispense fruit infused water. Try adding sliced cucumber or citrus fruit to your ice water- the see through chamber adds that extra touch for your guests to see the fresh goodies added for their refreshment!

FN1611

The Blackwell Collection™ has always been a favorite due to it's modern look, but the FN1611 tops our list due to its versatile functionality. Whether you use it as a display dish or bowl, on the table, or as piece of art, it's always going to be a fabulous addition to your venue!

6618

A bit hit in 2010 that's sure to continue in 2011 is the green glass trend. Our Authentic Collection™ shakers top our list for their ability to add a bit of nostalgia mixed with new trends on your tabletop. (PS- We love our 6619 Authentic Collection™ oil & vinegar dispensers too!)
